Sapphire Flames is the latest novel in the hidden legacy series, set in a alternative America where the discovery of the Osiris serum lead to the development of talents and magic eventually banned it was too late as talents required through the serum turned out to be herarditry. Andrews's endlessly inventive action scenes are chock full of strange magic, and Catalina and Alessandro's sexy sparring is a delight.
